Gravity
What is gravity?
Gravity is the force that causes to particles to move towards each other.
Gravity is the reason we dont float upward but fall down when we jump.
It depends on the mass of the objects and the distance between them.
We can calculate the force of gravity between two objects by using the formula:
where f is the force of gravity;G is the Universal Gravitational Constant
(6.67384 × 10-11 m3 kg-1 s-2);
m1 is the mass of the first body;
m2 is the mass of the second body;
and r2 is the square of the distance between the bodys.
From this equation we can conclude that the force of gravity is directly
proportionate to their masses and that it is indirectly proportionate to the
distance between them.
